Yep saw this YouTube and was like yep, having never seen this before they are right about many things. My eyes were opened to stuff I didn't know either like the $1.50 plus fee they pay the city your live and buy Comcast from in (very surprising to know that happens.
Since this video was made Comcast has gotten better and worse. That means they have gotten better at being worse. Yeah sure most of the customer service agents are nicer but they rarely help. After 10 years of Comcast when I moved it was over. Never to get Comcast Xfinity again. I would literally tell the agents on the phone I have called you guys for 10 years every 3 to 4 months for 2 hours minimum on the phone to discuss the latest issue. Normally the issues being the bill sky rockets a part of the triple play service stopped working or something else... Really every 3 to 4 months for years. Explaining I cannot pay outside thus budget and this is what I agreed to (meaning the original contract, of no contracts) Yeah it was frustrating but hey I am am American only we have it so good. Originally I had no idea about YouTube TV and cable cutters. Now that I've had a chance to look at how it works it is stunning at how well it works. And yes I know this video is kind of long. I wanted to show the services and how to actually use them. It turns out I basically created my own on demand library using YouTube TV, since there's no DVR limit and movies aren't actually deleted for at least 9 months. These videos will show using the guide menu adding TV shows adding movies and shows on 3 types of devices, a laptop, android phone and iPad mini.
Really great benefit is you can add shows and not be charged a subscription for a premier movie channel or company and the show will record whenever it comes on regular TV or cable. The interface is just so much easier and less confusing than even Comcast. And at one point in time I thought you could never be better than Comcast. Well YouTube TV beats Comcast. If you notice or no station numbers only networks, if you notice the guide is pretty clear on all platforms and devices show the preview scroll up and down you can do a YouTube search or YouTube TV search like you would do in Google search. And if it's there it'll give you all the choices from YouTube TV on demand and even from regular YouTube. But the best feature is you can add it to your list. And at first I thought why is it we're going to record all of the shows instead of just this one show. That's a real benefit you have to rethink how you look at cable and how they charge you for everything from a limited DVR to limited services and programs.
